Cowichan Valley Craniosacral
Duncan Cranial Sacral
Welcome to Cowichan Valley Craniosacral, offering Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy for all stages of life. My family clinic is conveniently located in downtown Duncan, BC serving all of the beautiful Cowichan Valley and offers a warm welcoming atmosphere for your comfort and relaxation. It is with a genuine interest in your felt sense of wholeness that I invite you to come into relationship with all aspects of your health. Each human being is gifted with a dynamic inner intelligence aware of its healing priorities, expressing the sequence in which its healing process needs to unfold for its integration into daily life. Health lives in every body and intuitively responds to gentle hands free of agenda and judgement. From my own state of balance, empathic presence, along with a felt sense touch and receptivity, I tune in and listen to your health, letting it guide me, so I may follow its intrinsic healing plan.
Christina has been honouring and supporting the needs of children and their families since 2005. She started out as a Waldorf infant & toddler caregiver, holistic doula, and Simplicity Parenting life coach. Yet after her daughter suffered a head injury, which healed successfully with craniosacral therapy, Christina got inspired to begin working therapeutically with families. In 2013, she embarked on a biodynamic craniosacral therapy training with Body Intelligence and completed a BCST mentorship with Richard Ferguson NTS, RCST® in 2015. She opened a private family practice in Duncan, BC in 2016, all the while continuing her studies in prenatal and perinatal psychology & health with Myrna Martin MN, RCC,CST, RCST®. Noticing a rise in breastfeeding challenges and tongue-tie with newborns, Christina completed the CST Infant Breastfeeding protocol and ATLFF™infant screening protocol accreditations in 2017 with Alison Hazelbaker PhD, IBCLC, FILCA, CST, RCST®. Christina is a registered practitioner with the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America (BCTA/NA) and a member of the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health (APPPAH).
