Sybille Webb - Integrative Body PsychotherapistIntegrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP)IBP is a non-invasive somatic psychotherapy that treats the whole person, integrating body, mind, emotions, and spirit, that can facilitate deep and meaningful work with lasting results. IBP integrates the best approaches from Eastern and Western psychological, physiological and spiritual body-mind theories and practices into a highly efficient and effective somatic implementation model for psychotherapy.IBP experiential practices help to break through old, somatically maintained dysfunctional behavior patterns by reawakening and establishing fully integrated states of well-being, constancy and sense of self in the body that can lead to a transformation of consciousness at the core of one’s being (www.ibponline.org).To inquire about private sessions or groups, please go to her website www.sybillewebb.com. Sybille completed her Masters in Education in Germany in 1996, with a focus on Fine Arts and French. In 1999 she moved to Vancouver Island, BC. After working with homeschoolers for 8 years, in 2008 her interest in psychology and the healing of the human soul led her to study IBP (Integrative Body Psychotherapy). As a certified IBP therapist (2013) and teacher (2016) Sybille opened a private practise in Duncan in 2013, sees clients and teaches IBP inspired workshops (www.connectedlivingseminars.ca).Having studied fine arts and different forms of dance her whole life, she created a modality by combining dancing and acrylic painting in a way that allowed her to access new, unique authentic expressions. In combination with her studies in psychology she started formulating expressive arts workshops in 2009. These are creative healing journeys into the soul, offered as “Dance and Paint” journeys, at her Yurt (www.sybillewebb.com).In 2010 Sybille embarked on a 4 year journey into studying the divine feminine mystery through 13 Archetypes. During this time of learning and deep exploration and healing in circle, she gathered tools and skills about holding a safe space for the transformation and healing of individuals and groups.Duncan continues to be home for Sybille, her husband and their two children. Inspired by the beauty of the surrounding nature, the arts and her fascination with the Mystery of the Human Soul she is weaving the tapestry of her life.
