I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis in 2011 and put on DMARDs and biologics. In fall 2015 our 9-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. In January of 2016, my husband had a significant stroke. In Spring of 2016 our middle son was bitten by a tick and got Lyme disease and was in and out of the Alberta Children's Hospital. He was SO sick, lost the ability to walk, etc. His Lyme disease AND treatment via PICC line triggered severe Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. He has lost 30 foods and at times cannot leave the house as he reacts to everything. Unfortunately, his MCAS triggers anaphylactic reactions.
In the fall of 2017, I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Follicular Lymphoma due to the immune suppressor drugs for my PSA. They pulled all my medications and I went through radiation treatment. I was also diagnosed with Lyme disease in the fall of 2017. In early 2018 our daughter ( with PSA) had a sudden flare up and was completely debilitated and housebound by what was later diagnosed as Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and Lyme disease as well. My kids have broken 11 bones because of the MCAS and possible EDS, they are in and out of wheelchairs, crutches, etc.
We try SO hard to figure out ways to help them and already pay for LLND treatments and consults in BC. We pat for MANY supplements and a live-in caregiver to help me/ our home because I am unable to do normal tasks due to my Psoriatic Arthritis and other health ailments. We suspect our youngest child has Lyme also and he just started being treated for MCAS. We all could use the help/treatment but my 2 oldest kids are the ones who can hardly function and need the most help. I REALLY think Neurofeedback to help us... and we are desperate for help.
How will this treatment impact Lisa's life?
We are barely hanging on health wise and financially. We need help being able to get our kids functioning again so they can live the life they want- going to school and playing sports. I need to be well enough to take care of them.
